  I think the 4Gb-file and the 2Gb-file are corrupt. They both have a size of about 700Mb – this seems to be not enough. The 512Mb-Version is functioning. Maybe you can create an image of the sd-card you are currently using?

  Ok, now the image is working fine. On the other hand, I’m not able to get any program to run. I always get “Exception during execution”. Not very helpful.
  I found out that every program has to be in a subfolder of “home/root/apps/” and that the program has exactly be named as this subfolder. Programs directly copied in that apps-folder aren’t be found, the EV3 says “No programs has been uploaded” when opening the menu “programs” on the EV3.
  Any idea?
